Heroin Skateboards

Heroin Skateboards resides under the umbrella of the larger (and more recognizable) skate juggernaut, Baker Skateboards — and fosters a more acidic aesthetic than its parent.

It was created as a secondary brand by England-born artist Mark “Fos” Foster, who stated that skateboarding is a ‘drug’ that many cannot free themselves from — similar to the substance from which the brand’s name is derived.

From skateboards and decks, all the way to less substantial items like griptape, the Heroin brand focuses on the raw nature of the sport, and what it provides to those who partake: an escape. In 2013, the global premier of Heroin’s first skateboarding feature, Video Nasty, was held in Los Angeles, featuring the likes of Chet Childress, Deer Man of Dark Woods, Daniel Shimizu, Gou Myagi, Rogie, and Tom Day.
